Windstream internet bouncing
Update - The bounces earlier today were due to a burst of errors between Des Moines and Chicago. Another bounce happened at 7:25pm CT and the overnight Windstream team is actively investigating the cause.

RFC 129370: WAN connections from the backbone to Kansas City GPN will have reduced performance during maintenance. Direct impact: Services will experience increased latency to GPN and Internet2. Expected impacts include: ARDC/MARC will lose some connectivity; Athletics to VYVX will experience an outage; ESnet connection will be down; UNMC Cloud Connect to Internet2 will be down; Internet2 increased latency and reduced capacity . Possible impact: Reduced redundancy may cause issues. ITS will be be working with our vendor to upgrade transport lines during this time.

Windstream internet bouncing
Resolved - Last bounce was yesterday at 3:11pm CT and the circuit has been clean since. We are continuing to work with the carrier to determine the cause of this outage and will post further updates to Incident #130520.
